Trips can be arranged from the fort and you will be picked up on-site from the quay by the Fort Belan Dock.
Rides last for one hour.
The Ribs are state-of-the-art with quiet but powerful engines and are fully MCA compliant and insured.

Moorings
There is berthing in Belan's unique Dock and wet and dry moorings in the bay. The berthing is usually available only on an annual basis. However, arrangements may be tailored for guests if negotiated in advance.

Kayaking
Bring your own kayak and paddle along the Menai Strait from our shingly beach. Llanddwyn Island and the Anglesey coast beckon but if you are feeling more adventurous the Lleyn peninsula and Bardsey Island are within easy reach.
Surf on the wide sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle or drive into Snowdonia for white
water kayaking.

Courses and coaching
We can now arrange Kayaking from the fort with fully qualified and experienced instructors.
The coaching and leadership, kayaks, safety gear and all clothing and equipment will be provided by Surf-Lines Adventures. (www.surf-lines.co.uk)
Courses are for weekends, days or half days. Longer duration courses by special arrangement.

Discover Kayaking.- This 1 or 2 day course is for people with no previous experience looking for a safe and an enjoyable introduction to the sport.
Sea Kayak Essentials. This 2 day course is ideal for anyone with a little experience of sea kayaking wishing to develop the skills and experience for safe sea kayaking in UK waters.
Rough Water Kayaking for those wishing to develop sea kayaking confidence and ability in challenging conditions.
Kayak fishing This rapidly developing sport allows anglers to reach previously inaccessible venues. The course is about kayaking and not about fishing. Previous experience of paddling is not necessary.
